what is it?

Cosmetic Tattooing uses advanced pigments and application techniques to create a long lasting brow to suit your individual preference and style. Although all cosmetic tattooing will 'fade', or metabolise, to some degree over time, it is a permanent procedure. The way your tattoo lasts will depend on a number of individual factors such as; lifestyle, skin type and how well you follow pre-care & aftercare instructions.

The pigments used are carefully selected and custom mixed to suit each individual’s skin tone, hair and eyes. Before your treatment begins, a 1-1 consultation will take place where we pre-draw your brow tailored to your facial structure. Once we are both satisfied with the results, the tattoo is precisely placed into your skin, blending behind your natural hairs to create your desired result.

It is a minimum 2-step process meaning that you will be required to come back for your 6-8 week touch up session. This session is seen as ‘the perfecting session’ and is $100. You may require a third appointment if your skin does not retain the pigment, this will incur an additional fee of $100.

Ombré BROWS $600

This technique is perfect for every skin type, achieved entirely with a machine technique. Although it may seem very dark and dramatic when first performed, once healed it gives a soft powdery-like finish and lightens up to 30-40%. This technique is very versatile and can be customised to be as natural or as defined as you like. The ombré shading technique starts off lighter in the front of the brow and gradually gets darker, more concentrated towards the tail, creating that ombré effect. This technique is best suited to individuals who have little to no hair ranging to those who have a full natural brow but want more shape and definition. Although this technique is suitable for everyone, people with oily skin specifically benefit from this technique as you will hold the shading much better than hair strokes. It tends to last anywhere from 1-2 years depending on your skin type and is overall better for the integrity of the skin due to the machine technique creating less trauma.

These prices include:

  • A face to face consultation on the day of your appointment

  • Custom brow design tailored to your face structure

  • Custom pigment colour match

  • Topical anaesthetic

  • Aftercare pack including instructions & topical aftercare cream

  • You may require a third appointment if your skin does not retain the pigment, this will incur a fee of an additional $100

6 WEEK TOUCH UP $100

To achieve your desired result, it is a minimum 2-step process meaning that you will be required to come back for your 6-8 week touch up session. This session is seen as ‘the perfecting session’.

Why don’t I offer microblading?

As a therapist I don’t believe that microblading is a good technique for the long haul. Microblading is considered a “stepping stone” treatment meaning that you will only be able to get 2-3 touch ups before the hairstrokes begin to blur together to eventually create what is called a “powder brow” or a “block brow”. This also means that an ombré brow cannot be done over the top, as the hair strokes in the front will prevent that soft fade from being achieved. I truly believe that ombré is the most natural looking and versatile technique when healed, which can be performed as natural or as defined as you like.
